The analyzer utilizes the principle of Chemiluminescence for analyzing NO, NOX and NO2 and concentrations within a gaseous sample. The method is based upon the reaction between ozone and
nitric oxide (NO mode).

In the NOX mode the reaction is measured the same as in the NO mode except the sample is routed through a converter. The resultant reaction is directly proportional to the total concentration of NOX.
